Well Taught
Small-group, three-part professional development program for early career teachers designed to strengthen their wellbeing, career fulfilment and retention
Why It Matters
If we’re lucky, we’ve had teachers who quietly changed our lives.
Maybe they were the first adult outside your family to see parts of you. Perhaps they noticed a strength, sparked your curiosity, or believed in your potential. Maybe they helped you feel safe, challenged, or capable in a way that stuck.
For me, there was a primary school teacher who encouraged me to be assertive. A secondary school art teacher who connected art, history and psychology, sparking a lifelong curiosity. The history teacher who was thorough, capable and invited excellence.
These moments often come from teachers who are not just skilled, but well supported, connected, and able to sustain themselves in the work they love.
Well Taught exists because we need exceptional teachers and we need to help sustain them.
Because teachers who are well supported are more likely feel fulfilled in their careers, remain in the industry and support better outcomes for their students.
